With a lot of my art, I just see lines, shapes or even colors, very faintly and I try to capture that. I just follow their temporariness to see how it turns out. It’s almost like trying to catch something intangible. This particular one came to me during class when I just saw it dreamily in front of me. I made a sketch and played it out. And with that, I hope that you follow your own lines and trust something beautiful will come of it. Art is a wonderful part of human expression, good for the soul, 110% worth pursuing.

This painting was a means of processing another mass shootings that happened in America November 2017. This one happening at a church where 27 were killed and another 20 were injured in Sutherland Springs, Texas. This shooting just happened a month after the mass shooting at a concert in Las Vegas. In 2017, 117 would be killed and 463 would be wounded by mass shootings. I have explored this concept in other artworks as well asking myself and the audience: Are there no safe places? Will anything be done to help prevent these frequent attacks on America people?
